Greatest Challenge Ending

Norma’s valiant struggle has entered it’s final stages.  She is comfortable and is in no pain.  She is surrounded by her family and her loved ones.  Her daughters Karen and Lola are by her bedside, along with her sister Janice.  Sister Arlene and brother Peter and other family members will be here soon.
Your prayers and love have sustained her, as well as all of us, throughout her battle.  Please keep her in your prayers and warm thoughts as she enters these last days.

  1. Sending love and prayers to all of you. Norma has certainly fought the battle with courage and dignity. I have such fond memories of the hiking and cross country skiing adventures. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

  3. Royal,
Thanks so much for the update. We're sending much love to you and Norma and all of the family. We will always remember the many wonderful times, laughs and adventures we had hiking with Norma and will think of her whenever we look at our many photos of her. She is so lucky to have had you by her side for your years of adventures and throughout her illness.
    Love,
    Dianne and Bob

  13. Dearest, Norma. I will love you forever. Meeting you is one of the best things about working at the museum and you are by far the best "hooker" that will ever be. May you know how much you are loved. Pamela

To Norma's family: I am so sorry to hear that Norma has passed away. She will remain in our hearts always. I am so glad that she was able to respond to a couple of e-mails that I sent. Having a great support group and a great attitude certainly helps as it has helped me.
My prayers and sympathy are with you all.
