GOOD NEWS---SOMEWHAT DELAYED

Norma’s checkup in the latter part of August was outstanding.  She had scans and blood tests the first day and saw the trial doctor the next day.  Effects of the treatments are very positive.  There has been reductions in all areas and significant reductions in some areas --- yippee!!!  Overall she is feeling great and doing her normal activities.  We go to SLC again this week for another checkup and will report on it much sooner than this last time.
Since her last checkup in August she has ridden her bike over 150 miles and has been taking hyperbaric chamber treatments 2 to 3 times per week.  On the tenth anniversary of 9/11 she played with the Jackson Hole Community Band for a Memorial Service.  The cell phone photo isn’t great but Norma is just to the right of the conductor.

Our friend Mort visited in early September and we rode several times.  One of the rides was into Teton National Park and the photo shows Norma and Mort crossing Cottonwood Creek.

She has some new bike socks which are very appropriate and reveals our feelings about cancer.
It Sure Does!!
Last week some of our biking friends from Colorado stopped by for a quick visit.  We took them in to Teton National Park for a bike ride with a dinner later that evening.  One photo shows us with the Tetons in the background and another of us at the Jenny Lake Overlook.

As a final note, Royal is doing fine and feels as “normal” as ever.
